Aquila is a US hop variety. Use its published variety profile as a starting point and judge aroma from the crop and product in hand. Primarily useful for flavour and aroma additions; it can still contribute bitterness when used earlier in the boil. The catalogue alpha-acid default is 6.5%; always use the value printed on the current packet or lot for bitterness calculations.
