Elani is a US hop variety. Expect stone fruit, pineapple, tropical, citrus, and orange character from late additions or dry hopping. Primarily useful for flavour and aroma additions; it can still contribute bitterness when used earlier in the boil. The catalogue alpha-acid default is 10.5%; always use the value printed on the current packet or lot for bitterness calculations.
