Alpha is a liquid lager culture from Imperial Yeast (L48). Fermentation character can show clean and crisp notes. Useful for IPAs, lagers, pilsners, and cold IPA. Reference guidance: attenuation guidance 73–77%, fermentation range about 8–13°C (46–56°F), alcohol tolerance around 10%. Treat temperature, attenuation and alcohol tolerance as strain guidance; wort composition, pitch health and fermentation management still affect the result.
